Hi everyone (again) - just to let you know a couple of things. First, our library catalogue has been upgraded to include cover art for the books and to provide links to book reviews and other information - I know some of you like to browse for new material using the catalogue and include pictures in your reviews, so now you can use our catalogue for that.
Second, the library has created a new service to help people find books based on their reading preferences. It is an online form (available from our website at www.markham.ca/mpl) that you can fill out, and within three weeks, you'll get a customized reading list that a librian will have compiled for you. We'd love to get some feedback on how good our choices are, so if any of you are interested in trying it out, please let me know how we did. Here is a short cut to the form:

Thanks, Andrea.

cool. i actually filled out a form, yesterday, (16th) and it was pretty easy. you just need to know what you like and what you don't like. i find it useful becuase i spend a lot of time picking a book whenever i'm at the library, since i try to make sure i'm picking something that i really like. this list thingy will help me narrow down my choices. i barely have time to go to the library, now that it's not summer, so it will be a lot easier to just pick out a few books from the list, put them on hold, and simply pick them up at the library.
i will surely post about whether the choices are good or not, even though i doubt they'll be bad.
thanks for this new tool! you have made my life easier! :)
