ok im not sure if this counts for hours, but i guess so. its not a novel. its a cute little book with a whole bunch of quotes, thoughts, and inspirations said by other people. what annoyed me was that a lot of them were "anonymous. oh well. there are different categories, such as friendship and self confidence. i got this book from... my sixth grade teacher (whoa) and as i said before, i hated reading back then. i rediscovered the book, right on my bookshelf-- surprising-- and decided to read it. i loved it. my favourutes were the friendship quotes.

you should lend your book to the announcement people, lolz (last year, we always ran out of quotes, so we kept on using the same ones over and over again, hehe). luv the quotes too =)
lol good idea the quotes now are SO BAD!! every month we have a character matters trait, and this month is like ... courage... i think... anyways its really dumb. all the quotes are like "respect yourself" or "stand up for a friend" or... you get the point! they dont have any meanings behind them! i think its kinda pointless cuz people cant care less about what 'trait' the month is about. or maybe... yeah i guess i should lend it to them since most of them are my friends and they wont care if the quote isnt about "courage". and cmon. there are about 20 quotes a week... so how are u supposed to get 20 "courage" quotes?
"have courage"
"Try new things"
"dont be afraid"
"stand up for yourself"
and on and on goes the list of useless "quotes"
oyeahh and one more thing... talking to stephie here... you won the art award last year, and one day, when some ppl were helping our art teacher at recess, we were talking bout you (just a little... and they were good things..) and some ppl were like "OMG if stephie didnt win the art award i would have cried!" and stuff like that.

lolz, what an honour to be still mentioned by you guys, hehe. i heard from my friend that the art teacher this year is really bad, she said that she makes you buy your own art supplies (or something along the lines of that)...is it true?!? anyways, who's the announcement people this year, are they gwynne and kitty?

Yes, they count.
It sounds like we all need to hear quotes like these ones from time to time for inspiration.
Sometimes, when I don't have time to read a full book but I need a little lift, I look for inspirational quotes like these.

stephie,, oy YA she's bad .okay. justa get you started, here are a few BASIC facts.
-she doesnt explain the assignments properly and gets mad when we dont do it the way she wants us to and then makes us re-do it
-yes, we have to buy our own art supplies. everything. from pencils to acrylic paints, (she's like, "when ur in high school, you will have to buy everything yourself." and we're like "BUT WE'RE NOT!!" and u know how last years teacher ordered this and that and got new paints at the end of the year that she wouldnt let us use because she wanted to save them for next year? welllll, surprise suprise. we cant use them. and shes always like "o, i dont think we have a lot of pencil crayons. go out and buy your own" but isnt that why you order stuff? i mean, an art room requires accessable art supplies. breaking news.)ahem..
-and we're not allowed to go into the art storage room
- um lots more. like how she laminated your art if its good or whatnot. i dont think thats a bad thing, but i think the work looks weird when its laminated
-and OH YA almost forgot "never roll up your art worksssss. always fold them and put them into your art folder"(art folder as in the one that is mandatory but we had to buy ourselves)
-AANNDDD instead of calling us "8 M" she says it like "8 emss"lol
uhm kitty and gwynne did announcements for like two months and now they switched to sophia and jaqueline.
