Andrea's blurb about herself...

Hi Everyone,
As many of you know by now, I'm Andrea and I'm the Teen Services Librarian at Angus Glen Library. I got into teen services because I as much as I didn't especially enjoy my adolescence, I feel like it is an amazing time of life with great potential for self-discovery and exploration, and working with intelligent, creative teens is a pretty cool way to make a living. I also feel like teens can easily get overlooked or misunderstood, and it is exciting to get to advocate for young people.
I'm excited about the TRAP - I think it is a fairly unique volunteer opportunity and a great way to get people talking about books - and I hope you all have a lot of fun with the programme.

On a personal note:
I have a million billion hobbies and interests - art, music, crafts, literature, running around outside doing stuff, riding my bicycle, eating delicious vegetarian food, petting my kittens Charlie and Brodie... basically anything you can think of. I live in Toronto with my husband Mike and am found many nights 'round and about chatting with him and other friends about ideas, pop culture, world events, celebrity gossip or anything else interesting over dinner or whatever. I'll looking forward to reading your reviews (and maybe posting a couple of my own from time to time).
