The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
By: Ann Brashares
326 pages

Once there 4 friends and they went shopping. A simple pair of jeans were made to fit all of them. These friends were together even before they were born. There mom's were in the same aerobics class. Now, this summer these friends are going there own places of the world. Carmen is going to visit her dad, in Charleston. Lena is going to Greece to visit her grandparents. Bridget is going to an all girls soccer camp in Mexico. Tibby is left carelessly in her house to rot over the summer. Read how these girls' lives bond together around the world with this pair of jeans. I thought this was an amazing book. Sometimes there was to much girl stuff in there, and sometimes to much love. It's a good book.
Read it!

Rachel,

Like one of our summer bloggers, I do question, how one pair of jeans could fit 4 girls?

This story was rated high by the summer bloggers but it is good to know you liked it as well.

Did you see the movie, as well?

To tell you the truth, this is one book I didn't like. I read it when I was... 11? 12? And it wasn't that it was too mature, because the book wasn't that advanced, but I just read it because I felt that everybody else was. And it wasn't that good. I think I'm the only one who feels this way so... (sorry for everyone who likes the book!).
I didn't understand the jeans thing either, don't worry.

i'm sorry that jessica didn't like this one, but everybody is entitled to their opinion...i personally really liked the book, and found it pretty easy to understand and all. i liked the concept, and especially liked lena's story, because she seems the most like me. i've read all of the books, and i like how the interest continues from one to the other, although i still like the first one best. i also saw the movie, and come to think of it, i have it!! it rocks!! jenn :-)
