Without A Paddle (2004)
Cast: Dax Shepard, Matthew Lillard, Seth Green
Running Time: 95 mins
Rating: PG-13
Plot: 3 childhood friends reunite at a friend’s funeral. They soon discovered that their friend who just died had a treasure map to D.B. Cooper’s $200, 000. So they decided to go on a treasure hunt (with little knowledge of anything to do with camping, hiking, canoeing, what so ever). Along the way, they are met with numerous (not to mention hilarious) challenges. These included canoeing down a 100 ft waterfall and getting chased by a bear. They even found themselves in a middle of an illegal pot field, and were soon being chased by mad pot farmers who are attempting to kill them…
All in all, this movie was the most funny one I seen in ages!!! It kinda surprised me how good this film was, although *a lot* of crude/ dirty humour was involved…(so be cautious if you are easily offended). There are also some very deep moments, so it’s not like any all-out-straight-laugh-your-head-off movie. So consider watching it!
